Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your Kustos account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion cascades through everything tied to your account — synced workouts, social content, and the account record itself — and it cannot be reversed. Export your history to CSV first if you want to keep it.

Before you delete: take your data with you

Deletion is permanent, so grab a copy of your history while you still can. Go to Settings → Export & Import Data and export your workouts and measurements — it takes under a minute and is never paywalled. Full steps: Export your workouts to CSV.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Profile tab and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. A confirmation dialog appears: “Are you sure you want to delete your account? This action cannot be reversed.” Type your username to confirm.
  5. Confirm. You’ll see “Account deleted.” and the app signs you out.

What gets deleted

The deletion cascade is complete — it isn’t a soft-delete or a hidden flag. When you confirm, Kustos removes:

  • Your synced workout history and routines (your account’s off-device copy)
  • Your social content — shared workouts, comments, follows, and your profile
  • The account record itself, including your email

Versioned backup snapshots are files on your device, not on our servers — they stay under your control. If you also want to clear everything on the phone itself, uninstall the app afterwards.

If you use Kustos without an account

Guest mode needs no signup and no personal data to start, and no account of any kind is created on our servers — your workouts live only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them, and that’s the whole story: there is nothing server-side to ask us to delete.

Can I undo an account deletion?
No. Deletion cannot be reversed, which is why the app asks you to type your username to confirm. Export your history first — see Export your workouts to CSV.
Does logging out delete anything?
No. Logout only signs you out on that device; your account and synced data stay intact until you delete the account.
I used Kustos as a guest — is there anything to delete?
Uninstalling the app removes your on-device data, and that's everything — guests have no account on our servers at all, so there is nothing server-side to delete.
What happens to workouts I shared to the feed?
They're removed as part of the deletion cascade, along with your comments and profile.
