Import & export
Export your workouts to CSV
Kustos exports your entire workout history — every workout, every set — as a CSV file you can open in any spreadsheet or take to another app. Go to Settings → Export & Import Data and tap Export Workouts. The file is built on your phone and handed to the system share sheet. Exporting your own data is free, always.
How to export
- Open the Profile tab and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Under Data, tap Export & Import Data.
- In the Export Data section, tap Export Workouts — or Export Measurements for your body-weight log.
- The system share sheet opens with the file (
kustos_workouts.csvorkustos_measurements.csv). Save it to Files, upload it to a cloud drive, email it to yourself — anywhere your share sheet reaches.
You don’t need an account for any of this — export works in guest mode too. If you haven’t logged anything yet, you’ll see “No data to export.” instead of a file; that’s expected, not an error.
What’s in the workouts CSV
One row per logged set, with these columns:
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
date | When the workout started |
workout_name | The workout’s name |
exercise | Exercise name for this set |
set_index | Position of the set within the exercise |
set_type | Normal, warmup, drop, or failure |
weight_kg | Weight in kilograms |
reps | Reps performed |
rep_range | Target range, if you logged in range mode |
rpe | RPE, if you recorded one |
distance_meters, duration_seconds, custom_metric | For distance-, time-, and custom-metric exercises |
What’s in the measurements CSV
The measurements export currently covers your body-weight log: one row per entry, with the date and your weight in kilograms. Other measurement fields aren’t included in the export yet.
Export is one-way
The CSV is built for taking your data elsewhere — a spreadsheet, another app, your own archive. Kustos can’t re-import its own CSV export. If your goal is to restore your data into Kustos (new phone, reinstall), use a backup file instead: see Back up and restore your data.
Your data is yours. If you ever decide to leave, export first — and if you’re closing your account entirely, read Delete your account and data for what happens next. For the full picture of what Kustos stores and where, see Your data in Kustos.
